Snow day!

So the kids woke up and saw some snow falling...it wasn't sticking at the time but a few hours later and we actually had about 3 inches of snow!!!! of course it snows out here every once in a while not like when we first moved to Cali and it snowed a LOT! it is funny seeing snow in a desert.....but it is also funny seeing it on the coast where no one knows how to drive in it except for some military!!! so we stayed home all day to avoid the accidents that happened out in town and the kids had a blast!!!! They rolled around in it, ate some, made snow balls, and even a snow man....he wasn't huge and the camera died before I got a pic of it but it was still cute!:) Courtney is making a snow angel....she tried and did good several times but she keep running over them before I got pictures of the final product so I took on of her as she threw herself back!!! she really hit hard and bounced but just laughed!!!! I am glad that she is so hard headed sometimes!!! it really has saved her life!!:) haha!!

Austin made a snow angel with hands, feet, hair and a wand.....don't know what the wand is for but he said that it needed it....

Here are some of Roy and Courtney's snow angel's....they loved to take the snow and throw it at each other....it was funny...

The snow finally melted today but they got to play in it longer today than they did yesterday (tues the 20th) and when they came in I made hot chocolate and grilled cheese sandwiches! They loved it.....they also had to be thawed out so they all snuggled with me uner a blanket and keep me frozen while they warmed up!!!!

Tammy, Chris, Austin, Roy, and Courtney,
What an awesome family blog you all have created! Enjoyed reading it and seeing all the pictures. Only one important thing I thought was missing... needs more pictures of Tammy! I feel for you all... know you are all in my prayers and on my church prayer's list... I cried when I saw the goodbye pictures... don't know how you all do it. It looks like you all are doing a great job at staying busy! Keep blogging! Love, Nanna/Mom
