My flowers

Okay so here is the proof that I do not have a black thumb anymore and I can grow house plants and flowers!!!:) There are ten or twelve I think...not sure right now....oh the flowers are hyacinths....they smell sooooo good and I will be able to cut them for the table as well!!:) I am looking forward to that!!!

There is also some flowers popping up that were planted before hand....I think that they are tulips or a type of lilly...not sure but I saw a similar shape in some flowers at lowe's and they said it was a lilly not sure what kind but I can't wait to see if they bloom....I hope that they are a good match with the hyacinths....guess we will see in a few weeks!!!

Hair cut

Well here is some new pics of my hair....I hope that they are better than the other ones....Chris requested some better taken ones so I hope they are better:)

So I got my hair trimmed and added some more purple....it is a regular purple and not the vivid royal purple that was almost blue....This is a picture that Austin took....

This is Roy's picture....he wanted to get the sink with the top of my head cause it is funny!!! He is so goofy....I guess I should have known that he was going to do something silly cause he was laughing the entire time he was pointing the camera....

The newest member

Her name is Sierra Rosey George....She is part Lab and Huskie....I think something else but they didn't know for sure!!!! We picked her up at the pound on Sat!! She is really good with the kids and very protective over them as well!!

She has had pups but she wasn't brought in with them...She is really skinny and has a check up on monday!! She has already claimed the house and a blanket and she does really well....she follows me around and she really looks appreciative like she knew that we saved her from a bad place!! she is extremely smart and has already learned to avoid the bathtub!! she doesn't like baths but she will stand there and take it and then dry off in your clean just made with fresh sheets bed!!!! how lovely is that!!!!

Roy got hurt and she ran over to him and licked him all over to make sure he was okay....so she has her maternal instincts as well!!:) she even let Courtney hug all over her and give her kisses!! So she is a good fit into the family!!! oh and she even snores like Chris!!! She is a great fit into this family and we love having her even though she has just been here a day!!!

Basketball practice

She doesn't really sit still long enough to get a picture!!! She is always running around at the basketball practice that she makes herself tired!! what a shame is isn't every night!!hehe!

And here is the kung fu master!!!! he loves to practice kung fu.....I wonder what he would do if we actually put him in it!!! He saw the Kung Fu dancers super stars of dance and wanted to be just like them....that on top of the Kung Fu Panda movie and we now have a kung fu master in the house!!!!

They had all of the players practicing their side to side movements.....they did really good....they all have some specific talent that makes the team so good....it is neat to see little kids all working together!

Roy kept trying to join the practice!!! he was doing really good....but he has a few more years to go before he can join!

Austin was trying to show Roy how to shoot before the practice started.....they were having so much fun!! Roy can't get it yet but I think in a year he should have it down with no problem!!!

Playing outside

So it has been cold and cloudy lately! but that doesn't stop the kids from playing outside!! though it did make it cold for me to watch and not freeze!!! Gotta love hot chocolate!!:) They have been playing football with the neighbor kids...the girl with the long hair is Courtney as well so the kids call her the new Courtney!! but her older brother lets all the younger kids beat him up and tackle him while playing football!! that isn't always a good thing since Roy thinks he is a kung fu master!!! so it gets interesting!!!

They love to ride their bikes and they are always outside riding them....Roy can ride his big bike by himself and Austin is learning how to do tricks on his bike and scooter!!! kinda makes me nervous but he really likes it so I guess if he wants to do bmx stuff then I guess!!!

Past couple of days....

Well this has been an interesting couple of days....well week actually....I think it has been the worst week since Chris has left....All the kids decided they wanted to act up and I mean they did a WONDERFUL job at it to!!!!! Austin is having a rough time and is not dealing with it well.....he tries but he just has had a rough week I guess and decided to take it out on everyone else!:( I did get some pictures of them playing and will put them up in a bit....Roy cannot understand how we are still a family with Chris gone so I told him it was like last time when we lived at Mema's house (my mom) and then daddy came back and we were still a family....I think he understood that better because he said oh well we had to wait a long time for him to come home and we shouldn't have to do that anymore....it is hard to explain to a 4 almost 5 year old how the military works....he knows that his daddy goes to help others but he doesn't understand why he can't go with him to help....or why we are left behind.....well hopefully he will be okay in a few more weeks....it has almost been a month so maybe it will start to get normal around here.....Courtney is still clingy...not as much as she use to be but she is starting to not listen so she is in timeout a lot....well they all are actually! seems like their bed is their new place to be at now! They have been running me ragged that is for sure!!! I am so tired at the end of the day that I want to pass out....but with Chris' schedule I usually am in bed around midnight and up six hours later getting ready for a new day!! ha wonder how long this is going to work out!!! but it is worth it so that is okay....well I am going to post some pictures now...
